I wanted to try it with my first but by the time I asked for it they said I was progressing quickly and should just get the epidural. So I did. I don’t regret it.

I had it with my first and hated it.

I just got super annoyed by the gas thing, it made my throat hurt. So at the end I just bit the thing and used it at something to focus on.

I hated it. It took them longer to set everything up for it than how long I actually used it. It’s hard to get the timing right of when to breathe it in so I’d end up breathing it in too long and ended up really light headed with the room spinning.

You’ll feel the contractions, but the gas and air give you something to focus on. At the end of the contraction you end up nice and high. 
I used it to get me through until the epidural was in. 💙
