I surely can’t be the only one to watch tv/use this app while feeding? Does it make me a bad mother that I don’t focus on baby? Don’t get me wrong, we have some great snuggles so I still feel like I’m bonding, but he just sleeps most of the time so I entertain myself!!

I mean, obviously sometimes I just stared at him feeding and falling asleep on my breast and had one of those pure happiness moments. But the boy was on my breast altogether for hours per day! Of course I watched TV, used my phone, read a book or even ate while breastfeeding.

If I had enough energy, I would read to him using the kindle app on my phone. But often I would just scroll through my phone or watch tv, especially when he was cluster feeding and it was an all day activity.

I generally look at my phone or watch TV. If I notice my daughter looking at me I put down my phone but she’s almost 1 and she’s nursing but looking around or playing with my shirt or whatnot.

When she was younger, I use to be on my phone or watching tv a lot because she nursed so often. Now that she’s older and only nurses 3 times a day I look at her and talk to her because I don’t want to miss out on what could potentially be the last time she nurses because you never know when it will happen
