So I applied for maternity allowance over a month ago, I’ve only just received the text today saying that I will get a decision within 8 weeks! I’ve left work already I’m not expecting much money from them this month either!

Anyone know what I can do to try and speed them up or if they will back date the money they owe? I’ve got bills to pay! I’m not entitled to maternity at my work as I haven’t been there long enough so have to go through the government!

Stressing so much over this now!🙄🤯
