So we are getting married next summer and I’m getting the Save the dates and invitations ordered. Did y’all send one to y’all’s make up artist or?

I wouldn't unless they are also invited to the wedding. It seems weird to me to give someone that you have hired for a specific task a save the date. Are you giving one to your caterer or the guy who puts up the tents as well?

I think it would be a nice gesture. I would also send her a photo of you in your gown with your make up done. It would be a nice resource for her portfolio, plus having done prom, wedding, etc make up for clients in the past, I loved when they would bring me photos of their “full look” to hold onto.
