Just like the title states, my 2 yr old son does not listen to me. I can tell him no 10000 times and he won’t listen or starts whining or just laughs at me and keeps doing whatever it is that he was doing, but his dad just has to say no one time and he immediately listens no complaints.

I know at this age toddlers are still learning right from wrong and how to express themselves. Although he immediately obeys his dad, I’m concerned I’m not being tough enough or maybe too friendly when I try to discipline him that that may cause issues when he’s older. Well his dad doesn’t really even discipline him all he has to say is no or stop and that’s that so it’s not like his dad is being tough or hard or scary. Am I just overthinking and this is normal toddler behavior or am I being a too easy going mom? This is my first kid so all this is new to me so I hope I don’t sound stupid asking this.
