Has anyone ever done a fast(water fast)

So I’ve been feeling pretty nasty lately I eat terrible and I want to kick start myself into eating healthy so I was thinking about starting a water fast, maybe for 3-4 days just drink only water

I’ve done research on it and I just rather see feedback from people that actually today, what was your experience like? I’m not really in it for the weight loss I’m just in it to restart the way I eat… How did it affect your skin and your weight and your overall feeling?

And for the people that gym, while fasting did you still gym? I go five days a week but I don’t know if that’s the best idea as I’ve never really done one before... thinking maybe I should just do light cardio for those days only
