On the morning of August 6th at 430am i started to feel contractions. I was getting past my due date so my DR was having me take at home induction pills and after a week of off and on taking them they finally started to work.

I waited and timed my contractions for an hour and they were about 5-5 1/2 minutes apart. But they weren't getting more painful. So i waited.

Then timed them again at 8am for an hour and they were closer and more painful, so my husband and i left to the hospital and got admitted.

I was dialated 3cm so my DR broke my water, and his hand came out with what looked like water and poop. He told me baby is pooping inside and he needs to come out.

I waited an hour then my DR came back to check me, said i am a 6cm, so they moved me to a different room, and from there it went down hill...😣😣😣

I began to swell everywhere. They put me on pitocin. I was doing this all natural, that was my goal. I made it to 8cm and asked for an epidural so they stopped the pitocin till my body was all set with the epidural, and waited to see how baby was handling it.

Everything looked good, so they started pitocin back on. And after an hour or so, they stopped pitocin again saying babys heart rate flat lines when i have contrations. When pitocin was off, baby was good. But mixed with the epidural, there was problems.

Finally they check me again and....

I went down...😵 Back to 5cm, and my cervix was starting to swell.

I had to do a c-section, which i was scared about. My first baby and these things happen! 😩

Baby boy came out great, he had the water poop mix fluid all inside him but was taken care of.

My body temp went to 102 after surgery, i went on sepsis alert (not sure if i spelt that right) but its blood poisoning, due to baby going poop inside me and them opening me up and the fluids going everywhere.

Thank God, nothing happened. Everything was negative. My temp when down after a few hours and so did the swelling.

But my boy and I are A-Okay! After 29hours of labor and craziness, my son was born!

9lbs 3oz and 20inch long!

(I thought he was gonna be a 7lbs or 8lbs, no one in my fam or husbands guessed 9lbs 😅)
