How did birth control affect you?

I’m thinking about starting birth control and these are the side affects I’m most worried about. I also don’t have any terrible period symptoms and I can definitely live without it I just prefer having a second BC option with condoms. I’ve never tried BC so I’m a little nervous with adding hormones to my body, but at the same time I’m really not looking into getting pregnant any time soon. Thanks!

I became way more sensitive with food now. Thinking like I want to puke everything I eat but I actually lost weight because of birth control. I have a few migraines but that would be all for me

I took Daysee for three months to try and combat my PMDD.  I started bleeding on the fourth week and bled a medium flow for 60 days straight, became anemic and had to get on iron for a few months and was giving serious consideration to checking myself into a psych ward because my mental state absolutely plummeted and I was starting to become afraid that I was about to become a danger to myself.
Once I reached that point, I got off the next day.

Mood swings and crying during placebo week, creamy discharge, low natural estrogen (had blood test done and is caused by my long term use of birth control pills), constant breast tenderness, nausea, hot flashes, increase in vaginal irritation (from low estrogen), linea nigra in bikini area (was not visible before birth control).
Benefits: 5 day periods with light-medium flow, protection from pregnancy, more on-time periods, cleared up all acne on face.
