We didn’t do any sounds. We didn’t want our son to be dependent on anything to fall asleep. We also weren’t quiet when he slept... kept TV at normal
Volume, didn’t whisper, etc. We didn’t want to tiptoe around and I’m so glad we did what we did. He has slept through tornado sirens, doorbells, action movies playing in the next room, etc. We can go about our normal business without the risk of a little noise waking him.

She will be hearing the sound from our son’s music thingy cuz he can’t sleep without it 😂 we’re sharing room lol...!

When I had my first son we tried to keep everything quiet to ensure peaceful sleep sometimes we played music but we regretted it because when he was around 6 months he couldn't sleep through anything, seriously my husband could sneeze and itll wake him

I bedshare with my babies, and we sleep with the tv and fan on. This is my fourth, and I have found that this way they tend to not get startled awake by noise/voices.

I've read some articles talking about how important air circulation is for a newborn because their lungs aren't quite strong enough to push the exhaled carbon dioxide far enough away so they end up breathing it back in which can cause SIDS. All that to say I highly recommend having a fan on no matter what. (Ceiling or standing)

We already sleep with a fan on in our room and my daughter has one in hers as well. So we probably won’t have any additional sound.
