Is it bad to want another baby already? Son is 8 weeks

Question

My son was born 8 weeks ago and I’m ready to be pregnant again. I know crazy right. Me and my husband want at least one more child and closer to the our sons age. We both have girls from our previous marriages that are 7 and 8. Am I crazy? Is this just a phase that will pass? Or should we just go with the flow? Is that selfish of me? We both agreed that I wasn’t going on birth control before Noah was born and now we don’t use any protection. Tia!

PS- I know a lot of women have babies this close together and nothing bad happens. I’m not trying to negate that. There’s just a higher chance of something happening when you don’t give your body enough time to heal itself

I'd wait a year. It's better to have them close but not right after one another. All my kids are about 1.5 years apart. Your body needs to go back to normal, heal and see hoe you feel a year down the road!(: But good luck on your decision!!!❤

I wanted another right away as well but then months 3- 6 were a nightmare and I was ready to get my tubes tied... 6 months on kept getting better and better. Last week we found out were expecting again, our daughter turned 1 yesterday. They'll be about 20 months apart

I would def wait... I got pregnant before the suggested time frame unexpectedly and I had a hard pregnancy and ended up going into preterm labor with a partial placental abruption at 35w when my first was term so I to be on the safe side... wait.

You might be, but your body certainly isn't. It takes almost two years for the body to recover its nutritional stores after pregnancy as babies take so much of our nutrients to build their bones etc. 
if you are now breastfeeding you would further out yourself and your newborn in jeopardy as the fetus would take much of the nutrients needed for you both. You milk supply may also drop affecting feeding your bub. 
This feeling is hormonal and will pass. Be responsible and wait

Honestly I feel the same way. You just look at your LO and it's like I want more. They're so darn cute that why wouldn't you want to have another??

I also want another baby asap. My doctor said to wait until 3 months pp before getting pregnant again... That way there's at least 12 months between births! Best wishes to you.
