Period like cramps?

Question

I've been having period like cramps for the last two hours or so. I almost feel like I need to poop, but I can't. I've tried. Just low, dull aching like my period is on. Is this pretty normal? I'm 35w1d. Baby is kicking every so often. But I'm so uncomfortable.

Been having this for a week. Last Friday the cramps started till Tuesday I finally went to labor and delivery. Turns out I was going preterm. I was 33 weeks and 80% effaced, 1-2cm and having contractions 2-3minutes apart so they gave me a shot to stop it.  Sent me home on modified bed rest

Same I'm almost 34 weeks it comes and goes. The whole poop thing is what made me think it might be labor prep.

That’s been happening to me too! My dr said it was just my body getting things slowly ready for labor. :)
