So I breastfed my daughter while we were in the hospital but then I decided it wasn’t something I wanted to keep doing so when we got home we’ve been exclusively giving her formula. It’s been about 3 days since we’ve been home and my milk has come in. My boobs are gigantic and extremely hard, like they feel like rocks. I’m concerned that they will stay like this it’s difficult to even move with them. I’ve looked up when your breasts will dry up but I don’t understand how my boobs could go from being huge like this to just dried up. Is there anything else I should be doing to dry up my milk? I’m just worried this is not the way it should be and that I could cause myself an infection if I don’t already have one. Both my boobs are literally hard as can be.
