Tubal Ligation

Cynthia • 23. Childfree. Sterilized.

I’m not going to go into a long story unless you want me to lol. But I have a question, does planned parenthood do tubals? I’ve read some do but I was curious if anyone know if this is a true fact. (I’m very dead set on this)

PP usually does not do sterilization, that’s something your OB/GYN can help you figure out though!

Keep your chin up. I knew from a very young age that I did not want children. I begin asking to get my tubes tied when I was 17. Obviously they weren’t going to do that. Then I had my daughter when I was 19 and I asked again. I was denied again. I asked a couple of times a year every year between 19 and 29. Went to multiple doctors, none of them would do it. I finally found an OB/GYN who would agree to do it if I would compromise and get the hormone IUD for 5 years first. I agreed to that. My circumstances have since changed and I opted not to get my tubes tied after all. But I was in the final consultation stages of having it done.

Many places (pagapdjdpp of women's rights to choose) will not do tubal before a certain age.

It didn’t show went I went on it, so they may not do it. I was just curious if anyone had extra knowledge. Thank you very mich!

I am not sure. Their local website may have a list of what they provide.

I know, but I need to try. But do you know is planned parenthood does it? Like if that specific organization has the capability of the procedure?
