Last night my period started lightly so before bed I took the normal precautions of a panty liner and tampon. We slept in since it’s a RI holiday and we don’t have work , got to cuddle and take our time getting up. I got up to use the bathroom and was searching for one of his long t-shirts since his kids were up in the living room already.. and then it happened ! The dam burst and it was a scene from Carrie . Blood rushing down my legs pooling down around my ankles . I made the half naked dash out the door and down the hall to the bathroom a trail of blood droplets following me . Pretty sure his preteen son and 9 year old daughter saw this all unfold as well . Once I cleaned myself up in the shower and wiped down the crime scene that was the bathroom I knew I had more work to do down the hall and in our bedroom but when I walked out i was surprised to find my boyfriend wet jetting the floors and cleaning up. I was so embarrassed 😳 I insisted that I’d take care of it but he assured me he had it under control and to just get dressed and relax!

We have been together over two years but it’s things like this that still surprise me , in a great way, not only not making a horror show even worse by reacting badly but by taking action and helping ! He’s a keeper ! 🥰💕
