My advice to someone who wants to try it is this: if it’s a comfortable position, try and be on top so you’re in control. For us, it wasn’t comfortable at all but I trust him and he listens to me so I let him do it from behind. I have him put it in about an inch and then tell him to stop moving. We both sit still until I almost barely feel it and then add another inch. If it starts to hurt, he takes it out and he starts over. The key is to relax everything in your body. I have a bad habit of clenching without meaning to and THAT is more painful than the actual act of it ever has been. Definitely try starting with a finger to see if it’s even something you’d like. I have to be in the mood. If you are relaxed and have plenty of lube and aren’t all in your head (if that makes sense), it can be a lot of fun.
