So in the last week my 13 month old daughter has reverted to being extremely clingy yet taking full advantage of my slower mobility. I am 36 weeks pregnant with her brother. She refuses to sleep in her bed for naps or at bedtime now. She will run from me when I go to put her to bed. Now in the last 4 days she has woke up at 6:30am everyday (this is normal since birth) and she will absolutely not take a nap or lay down and rest until 7:45pm each night, some nights it's 8pm. I am struggling with this as I am about to have a second child and not only that I am having my tubes removed after his birth so I will be healing from labor and a surgery. I have dealt with kids a lot even worked a daycare center and have nieces and nephews but never known any of them to refuse naps this young. Also I know she is tired but she literally fights it and the cry it out method is not working as my insanely frustrating elderly neighbors like to call the police to ask for welfare checks when they hear her screaming/crying for more then a minute. 😒 So I am over having the cops make me go get her and show them she is ok ect. Anyone else going through this situation? Please help.
