Cervical check

Back story- my first labor I didn’t have to get my cervix checked due to having a early labor, today I got checked and was 1 cm dilated and 70% effaced(? Not sure that’s the right word for it) anyways I knew light bleeding would come with it, did anyone go into labor after having it checked? It kinda felt like he did a little swoop or something to my cervix as well lol
