First time IUI 24hrs post trigger?

Question

I’ve ready so many conflicting things regarding IUI being 24 and 36 hours after trigger. I’m currently stimming for my first IUI and my RE says I’ll have my IUI 24 hours post trigger. A lot of people seem to do to at 36 hours. Will 24 hours still be ok? Are the chances the same?

I did 24hrs and am 28w today.  Maybe 36hrs was if the follicles weren't mature enough yet or hadn't released?  I'm not sure.  Trust your doc though

Okay so it depends on how you body reacts... I did the trigger and the next day they did the IUI... and guess what? I’m 21weeks pregnant. I had a very good doctor who knew what he was doing

Your follicles May be more “ready to go” than those who need to wait 36hrs. Especially if you were stimming and not using just Letrozole or Clomid. Like the other poster said, I would relax as much as you can and trust your RE. Good luck to you!

I’m sure your doc knows what’s they’re doing. Did she explain why she was doing after 24 hours?
