Formula oz vs BF oz

So I breastfed and formula fed my daughter but seemed to have forgotten.

I just got home from hospital having majorly surgery and deciding to quit breastfeeding due to pain and inability to pump and all the severe meds I’m on.

I got home today and my husband sat down a formula bottle with 8 oz of formula in it. I kinda lost it because my son has never drank more than 4 oz out of a bottle before today (that I’m aware of). He would usually drink 3-4 oz of breast milk at a time so I told my husband to do 4 oz bottles of formula (but my mom and my husband have ignored everything I said in regards to my kids all week, which is another issue).

Just wondering if I was right with the 4 oz bottle or what. He didn’t even eat the whole 8 oz and formula is expensive.
