First ultrasound

So I go in for my first ultrasound tomorrow morning in just 11 hours. I am 8 weeks pregnant with my first baby (or at least longest pregnancy/miscarried three angels) so I have no idea what to expect. They never gave me any instructions or if they are doing it transvaginally or trans abdominally. Any advice/tips/what to expect. Praying for a healthy bean.
