He finally felt her!!!
I am married to one of the good ones. The kind of man who works 10 hours a day with a 2+ hour commute both ways and still cooked me dinner when I was so sick in the first trimester. The one who kisses me on the lips and the forehead every morning when he leaves. The kind who says won’t let me lift too much for fear of hurting myself or the baby - but believe me, I’m not a fragile type, and do plenty for myself!!!
Last night after we climbed in bed, our baby girl went still again, like she does every night when he tries to feel the movements I’ve been describing for a few weeks now. And then he felt her. The look on his face was priceless. He was so excited and said ‘it is very soft, I see what you mean now!!!’ It was really one of the most amazing things, and I am so happy that at 23w5d I can now share this positive part of our pregnancy with him. He’s going to be the best daddy in all the land! 💞🤰🏼👨👩👧
