Mucinex?

Okay.. So I have been hearing people swear by taking mucinex to increase fertility, for both men and women. Does anyone have a success story with taking mucinex prior to ovulation?

So when I got pregnant with my son, I had just happened to be taking Mucinex in my fertile window because I had a sinus infection. It was also the first month using Preseed. So I don’t know if it was one or the other or neither or both, but we got pregnant that cycle!

Definitely does not increase fertility, but it does thin out your cervical mucus, which is a good thing for TTC. I used it and got pregnant. Not sure if it was the reason, but I’ll be using it again when TTC number 2.

I had a cold the week of my ovulation the month I got pregnant and was on mucinex. It was our first month trying so idk if that was what did it but it obviously didn’t hurt. I would avoid taking medication if you’re not sick though. It can do more harm than good.
