I had sex a week before I got my birth control implant I haven’t got a period just light spotting for a few days now...

I would take a test after it’s been 2 weeks if you haven’t gotten anything. It could be bc of the bc but you still had sex before it was implanted

Have you gotten the implant yet? If you have it most likely is due to that. Birth control completely changes your cycle and also makes your “period” (it’s not a real period while on bc) lighter and easier to handle. When i first got on bc I had a period for 3 1/2 weeks but when my best friend got on it, she missed 2 periods. It all depends on the type of bc and the person who is taking it!
