I need help
Im starting to feel hopeless about my 7 month old daughters sleep. She wont go to sleep unless shes nursing and then wont stay asleep long without me. She also won't take a pacifier. I'm transitioning her to her crib starting with naps today, and per someones suggestion im taking away feedings at naptime. Just tried it and it broke my heart. She kicked and screamed in my arms until her voice got hoarse and i was worried she was really thirsty because she was crying for so long. Im just at a loss for what to do. She's asleep now but i feel like I'm traumatizing her the way she screams. If anyone has tried this does it get better?
Edit- after posting this i tried to lay her down in the crib, and she woke up, so i rocked her to sleep again (after another 15 minutes of screaming) then tried to lay her down on my bed (since shes not used to the crib yet so im thinking she has to get familiar with it during wake times first) but she woke again. So i gave in and nursed her to sleep. I am so lost i just cant do this anymore. Im a single mom so having someone else try to put her down isnt an option. I feel like this is never gonna end
