have you ever asked a friend to stop talking to the person you like or your SO because it makes you jealous, mad, annoyed, or you don't like them being overly friendly or flirty? what are your opinions on it. do you think a true friend should stop talking to them or being overly friendly if you ask, or do you think it's not my place at all?

No. Never. If you aren’t dating that person, then the friend can do what they want. 
If you’re in a relationship with an adult who has a mouth and a brain, they can decline the advances themselves. 
I’ve never been jealous in my life. It’s a wasted emotion and toxic. I also have friends who respect my marriage and wouldn’t ever flirt with him.

I would just tell the person they are being overly flirtatious and it’s annoying 🤷🏻‍♀️ but you can’t make anyone do anything

Nahhh I wouldn’t say anything. What’s that going to do? Make things awkward with your friend? Make you look insecure? Be yourself and if he likes you, it will happen. I didn’t even say anything to my friend when she was straight up drunk flirting with/touching my bf/now husband because he was well aware and talked to me about it. I wasn’t going to try and change her behavior. No need. When she got a new bf, her behavior changed.

You have every right to be upset. Your friend clearly doesn’t know her boundaries of if she does then they’re not a good friend. The guy your in a relationship with should notice it and let your friend know -  if that makes sense?
