So I'm 27 years old and parents have been separated 6 years. I finally told my mom last night that I was sexually abused by my father as a child. Now I feel a lot better , but I don't want to talk anymore to her but maybe I just want to know if anyone else out there has gone thru the same thing? I'm married with a baby, my mom is our neighbor. We have a great life after my dad, he was abusive in other ways and super Christian culty....so I guess it wasn't a huge shock to her but she was still obviously floored and kept apologizing. I don't know if I really have a question or anything .....guess I was just looking for anyone who could relate?
