What medicine do you give your baby when they are teething?

My 8 month old has been waking up every hour to two hours of a night chewing on his binky and crying and chewing on his fingers. I don’t like to give him medicine but i feel like he needs something at night so he can sleep. During the day we do teething tablets, breast milk popsicles, and tons of teething toys.

Motrin will last longer than Tylenol. I personally never medicated my babies for teething.

Motrin works WAY better for my guy and longer too. We’ll use it before bed on the really bad days and there’s been many😩😬8 teeth total now.

Have you tried letting him chew on a cold wash cloth? My son loves that. 
I haven’t given my son anything as I used to use the teething tablets with my others but now they say those aren’t safe. So we don’t use any kind of medications for baby.

Mostly Motrin because it lasts longer. I alternate tho when it's bad 🤷

I’m from a different country so I’m not familiar with those medication names. But I’ve found that the numbing gels have been more effective than any medication. Perhaps that’s an option. Hope you find some relief soon 🤞
