Is my lo on track?

My lo is 13 months old. She weighs 17.6 lbs and 29in long. I know she’s on the smaller side for her age. She eats constantly everyone is amazed at how much she eats but she is never still! Lol.. any suggestions on what I can do? Is pedi sure safe at this age? Or am I too worried?

If your LO is growing on her own curve, meeting milestones and is happy, I wouldn’t be concerned. Some kids are just petite! My now 3 year old was 17lbs at a year old and in the lower percentiles. She’s now 32lbs and 50th percentile. If you’re having trouble getting some weight gain on her, I’d recommend high calorie foods (avocado, peanut butter, olive/coconut oil, full fat yogurt, cheese). My youngest is nearly 15 months old (13 months adjusted) and is very small (just hit 12lbs). We add coconut oil to his foods and make them as calorie dense as possible.

Omg yay! Another petite babe like my girl! Penny’s 17.5lbs and 29 inches long as well! And yes, I was worried too, but she’s totally well within HER growth curve, and she eats a CRAP TON like yours does😂Her dr isn’t concerned at all🤷🏻‍♀️We just have little tiny things!

Is her dr worried? My daughter is 24lbs (93rd percentile) and 32in(99the percentile), she's on the bigger size for her age but dr said there is no need to worry since shes following her own curve.  PediSure is more for if they don't eat. So since she's such a good eater it's not really necessary. I personally wouldn't worry unless she starts losing weight. All kids grow at different rates. My oldest at 1 was only 18lbs way smaller then her sister is at 1.

My guy is 13 months and 19lbs and 28in I’m afraid once he is walking more he will be hard to keep still which will be hard to keep weight on

My 13 month old is 17.8lbs and 28.5”. At 9 months old she was sick non-stop (stomach flu -> ear infection -> roseola) and dropped in percentile (6th -> 2nd %), but has since been consistently growing on the new lower growth track. We keep trying to do everything we can to get her to gain and get back to that original growth track, but so far nothings worked.

My son is on the bigger side but he’s ahead of his milestones and hes on his same curve since birth. 25 pounds , and 30.5 inches tall. 
My doctor wasn’t concerned . Babies all grow and do their own thing at their own pace as long as she’s following her curve and etc as mentioned above and ur doctor isn’t concerned I wouldn’t be either hun❤️

Sounds like she’s doing great! My girl is just a bit over 18 pounds and the pediatrician hasn’t been concerned at all. They seem to put a lot of emphasis on ‘percentiles’ at our ped’s office and she’s been consistently around the 12th or 13th percentile. 🤷‍♀️ Our pediatrician says she isn’t concerned because my daughter has been consistently in this percentile and hasn’t fallen off the growth chart. 😃
