Recently I’ve been bloating up before my period starts, (I’m still a young teen so barley know anything about this) my mom told me it’s because of pms. But she never fully explained to me what pms is

Pms is pre menstrual syndrome..u can get mood swings,fatigue,tender breast, bloating etc.it is quite normal..if u have any other questions please feel free to ask me here .

PMS is ‘premenstrual syndrome’. It’s physical and emotional symptoms that take place 1-2 weeks prior to your period beginning. Every woman experiences different symptoms - but some that can occur are: bloating, acne, sore breasts, increased hunger and mood changes (to name a few).
