Pregnancy after loss

Feeling so much relief now! 😊

Currently 11+3 and have been feeling anxious lately. After our miscarriage last year and having not shown any miscarriage symptoms (ie bleeding), the weeks in between my current midwife appointments seem like forever. Just wondering what's going on in there and if everything is ok.

Thankfully, my midwife centre is so awesome and they let me come in for a fetal heartbeat check. When the nurse couldn't find the heartbeat with a Doppler, she went and got a handheld ultrasound machine! It was amazing!!! We got to see our little babe stretch out and somersault around! And she let us take a video too! I am so amazed by technology - it was just a flipscreen ultrasound about the size of a large cell phone screen (I did a Google search and it costs over $1500 and is used by medical professionals).

Anyways, feeling so thankful and onto the next milestone - getting our NIPT results soon!
