active baby still?!

everyone has told me the closer i get to my due date the less active baby should be. i’m 36 weeks and she is still as active if not more active! she is always moving ESPECIALLY at night. anyone else notice this?

It’s not that they become less active the farther you get, it’s that the movements start to feel different, less kicking, but  more like jabs, and rolling sensations. 
If you ever experience less activity you should call the doctor. That is one of the scariest misconceptions people are told.

I’ve found that the movements feel different, and they havn’t reduced. I was a little worried until I stared at my belly and realized she was moving, and I just didn’t feel it. I feel her bigger movements, but sometimes not the smaller ones.

My babe is especially active at night too. It’s like she has 5 friends in there just punching me all at once 😂

My baby just seems to be moving like trying to get comfortable. He’s not kicking unless he goes to stretch. So it’s not that they aren’t active it’s just different

Tons of movement still, especially at night, and its typically visible to others if they happen to be looking at my belly

My midwife tells me to make sure I’m feeling more than 10 movements within 2 hours I’m 36 weeks also and my baby is still VERY active!
