I always hear a toddler screaming/crying from the moment I wake up to sometimes 1,2 in the morning. I understand toddlers throw tantrums but it’s gone to the point where I think he’s being abused. Just now I heard him crying hysterically and screaming “stop pa stop” I’m shaking about to cry and I quickly ran outside to see where the screams were coming from so I can call the cops and direct them to the exact apartment but since my walls are thin he could possibly live in the building next to mine since they’re not coming from any apartment in my building. Should I still report it? Am I being ridiculous and some children just hysterically cry 24/7? My heart is so heavy and my mother instinct is telling me to report it but I feel silly calling and saying I have no clue where he lives as well as having no evidence. My family is telling me to mind my business but idk how they’re okay listening to the screams and not think anything about it especially after they heard him yelling at someone to stop. It is eating at me, what would you do?
