Keep in mind too, that once you start giving them sweet foods, like fruits, sometimes it’s hard to get them to eat veggies. My SIL said hers always ate their veggies well because of the order or how she introduced the new foods.

My ped says to try solids at 6 mo but I EBF. And I personally wouldn’t give banana as it causes constipation.

My daughter was eating mashed bananas at 4 months and real bananas at 6. She caught on to chewing really quickly and does great with most foods.
