C-section Hospital Bag Must Haves?

Question

I’m having a scheduled c-section at the beginning of October and will be in the hospital 3-4 days. What are your hospital bag MUST haves for this long duration!? None of my girlfriends have had a C-section, so they keep telling me I don’t really need to bring anything, but they have only been kept overnight or 2 nights max. Thanks! 
Ps- we are in Texas, so if you’re from here, too, that’s an added bonus!! I know each state operates a little differently!

So I had a csection with my first (in Texas) and will be with this one too. You just need to make sure to bring yourself plenty of comfortable clothes, a robe, slippers, chargers and hygiene stuff. And plenty of clothes for the baby as well. Also, don’t forget a boppy pillow! Even if you don’t plan on breastfeeding, it’s necessary to even hold the baby after a csection. Your muscles are literally sliced in half and you can’t hold anything. The hospital provided us with a lot if we did forget something. They will make you get up and walk laps around the maternity ward multiple times a day so make sure your slippers are sturdy and won’t make you fall. The faster you get moving the better after surgery! It will reduce your recovery time.

As pp said a boppy pillow!! But extra clothes I didn’t think necessary, I just wore hospital gowns. They were in checking incision all the time, you’re bleeding, and possibly breast feeding. I didn’t get dressed until we were getting ready to leave on day 3, and I had yoga pants and a loose shirt. 
Make sure you have all of your toiletries and hubbys, and hair ties. 
A few outfits for baby, in different sizes, just Incase! Mittens! And most of the other stuff the hospital has, so use there’s up and take yours home!(diapers, wipes, hats, onesies, blankets)

I had a cesection with daughter and didn’t use a boopy pillow at hospital at all. Just bring flip flops or slippers to use when they make you walk around. They gave me mesh underwear it was the most comfortable underwear ever. Ask for more. Bring toiletries. I just wore pajama home or something that was loose. Don’t over do it or you will be in pain. Also dont r be afraid to ask for meds or help the first night too. 
You will be asked after you ya e cesection to have a liquid diet. Go easy on n your first meal like soup for instance. 
I really liked having a heating pad and it worked its wonders so I suggest bring something like that for your back or your own pillow as the hospital I found didn’t have enough. Bring your charging cord ect

Oh yea!! A belly band!!! It’s a must!!!! My hospital put mine on right after surgery, but I’ve heard some hospitals don’t offer them! So check to see if you’ll get one! I wore mine for a week after too! And take all the mesh panties you can!!! 😂 they’re great!!

The only thing I brought that was more C-section specific was a boppy pillow for feedings and just holding baby more comfortably. My first baby I tried and hated the football hold. Bed pillows weren't great either. I always had someone stay with me to help with baby and help me move around safely if needed. I never had a vaginal birth so I don't have any comparison, but C-sections aren't all that bad and I'm looking forward to it this time around.
