I’m 38+1 today. Had an ultrasound yesterday because my belly has measured 3+ weeks ahead for the last few check ups and the tech said baby is 10lbs 1oz (give or take a lb).

We’ve been preparing for a natural water birth at the birth center, and now it’s looking like we’re “risked out” and have to have her at the hospital. My first daughter was almost 9 lbs and we had delivery issues because of my narrow pelvis.

I’m basically waiting to hear from my midwives what they are going to let me do or want me to do. They think I have late onset Gestational Diabetes. They’re worried about a vaginal Delivery due to a high risk of shoulder dystocia.

Anyone else ever in this situation? Were you induced early? Did you have to get a c section? Mind you, I’m only 38+1 and she’s already measuring this big. I’m terrified of going into labor now.
