Did you breastfeed one child but not the other?

Breastfeeding didn't work out with my first baby (due to a long list of reasons). My husband and I are trying to conceive again and obviously breastfeeding is something to think about. I had a really miserable experience the first time but I figure I'll try again.
Curious if you ladies had a similar experience. Anyone breastfeed one baby but not the other?

I BF my first to 8 months when my supply tanked and I switched to formula. Best decision ever, we had struggled with lip tie, reflux, fussy feeding, not being able to pump more than an ounce at a time (so I could never leave the house) up til that point. 
I’ve already decided the next one I’m not even getting a new pump, I’m not pumping at all. Baby will get formula when I want to leave the house and I’ll BF the other 99% of the time until I can’t anymore for whatever reason. Not going to kill myself over it.

I breastfed my first and loved it. Stopped when he was about 6 months old due to getting pregnant and my body no longer being able to keep up. I'm considering formula feeding this baby from the start though. But for what might be weird reasons... I miss my body being %100 normal. I'd been on birth control since before getting married, and it took my body a long time to recover from the effects of it before I finally got pregnant. Que breastfeeding, and now being pregnant again. My sex drive has been really low for a long time, I don't think it's been "normal" since before I got married. 
I go back and forth still, because I did enjoy breastfeeding, but I want to want my husband. I want to have a normal drive, and sometimes I think staying off birth control and not breastfeeding is the best way to do that. But idk, we will see. At the same time, I could always just breastfeed for say 6 months and then stop. I'll be back to normal eventually, so maybe I should enjoy that part of being a mother with this baby as well. 
Idk, I'll figure it out. 
Just do what you're most comfortable with. Most of our parents were formula fed because the baby boomer generation went through a period where almost no one breastfed. Formula was the new thing, and that's just what everyone did. And formula has come a long way since then, it is very nutritious and an excellent substitute for breastmilk. And if you want to breastfeed, do it. It can be beneficial to both mother and baby - again, I loved breastfeeding my son, it felt like our special little time together. No one else could give him what I could, and I loved that bond.
Neither decision is wrong, and a mother should never feel guilt for choosing either option.

I tried to BF my first. He was lip and tongue tied. After having the tongue clipped twice he still couldn't latch. We even went to pediatric feeding therapy at the local rehabilitation hospital.  I tried and tried to make it work.  So I exclusively pumped for 6 months and then switched to formula. 
This time around my son breastfeeds like a champion . So we will see how long we last. 4 weeks in and he's not slowing down. This is a much more pleasant experience this time around.

My mum couldnt breastfeed my eldest sister at all but breastfed the other 3 of us for at least a couple months (my sister refused the breast at that point). She didnt manage to get to the 6 month mark with any of us but that was because of a medical issue with my sister and I suddenly stopped accepting it at 5 months old. I do know a few people that didnt breastfeed their first but breastfed their second/third until at least 1 year though.

I will probably breastfeed if this baby is fine to do so. My son didn’t want to latch & milk didn’t really come in. I’m fine with giving formula but I am just gonna try. I refuse to exclusively breastfeed so if I have no issues the first month with feeding and pumping, I’m gonna go to pumping for bottle feeds most of the time .
