My fiancé father rarely payed child support. His mother has 2 other children who fathers made very good money and she got large child support checks for them. The mother treated him very differently then the other children and he always had much less because she didn’t get enough money for him. They would go clothes shopping at the mall for new clothes and he had to go to churches that hand out free clothes. They got to go to amusement parks and the beach but he wasn’t invited because she didn’t have the money to bring him. When he turned 18 he received a settlement check for a incident that happened and his mom took a large amount of the money since his father rarely payed child support. Does this seem fair?
