Anyone have some spotting and went to HOSIPTAL and they told u no intercourse. And what did u do

I did! Then when I went to the OB about a week later I asked him about it and he said that I can resume intercourse no problem. So I asked him why I was told not to in the first place and he said that non-OB people get scared around spotting and don't want it getting worse but he assured me about a million times that sex will NOT cause a miscarriage and it most likely never will. He said that the spotting might get worse but that's it. He also said that some women who are spotting still choose to abstain because if in the off chance they do miscarry (for other reasons) they'll assume it was because of the sex and they'll feel guilty
