Due date change?

I was wondering when a doctor will change your due date? Our daughter is measuring 3 weeks ahead (bump wise) and has always been 2-3 weeks ahead (ultrasound wise). We have another ultrasound and appointment on the 26th.

They probably won’t, but they may induce early if they think it’s medically necessary. Measuring under or over is just an estimate, the first dating scan you have is pretty accurate at determining your gestational age.

They won’t at this point in pregnancy.  The earliest dates are the most accurate.  At this stage, measuring ahead can be due to placenta size and placement, fluid levels, etc.

My doctor told me they would only change my due date if baby measured 10 days ahead or behind

My original due date is 10/14. I was measuring 3 weeks ahead so they did an ultrasound 2 weeks ago and that projected due date is 10/2. Doctor said she’s not going to change my due date from 10/14, but we will do another ultrasound at 36 weeks

They don’t change your due date at this stage. At this point ultrasound measurements can be off by 15%. If your baby is measuring ahead I would prepare for a big baby

my bump and baby have been measuring a couple weeks ahead since the beginning too but they haven’t changed it :/ 27w2d

With my first two they induced bcz of baby being big and they were born 6lbs 12oz 20in and 7lbs 13oz 21in and my last one they said he was small and at 34wk scan he was 5lbs 11oz and born at 37wks at 5lbs 13oz 18in long so they can be right and they can be wrong you never truly know til baby is here

Had a grow check ultrasound 4 weeks ago and another today- baby is measuring 3 weeks ahead but they are not changing my due date. DR. scheduled 1 more growth check ultrasound for 37 weeks. At this point I’m just preparing for a not so ittt bittty baby boy 😅. Doctor said, “this baby is a giant for you- but everything looks good!” 😳
I’m very Petite naturally so doctors were expecting me to have another very small baby..
 my 1st son was tiny so this time around has been quite different😂
