Anyone else dealing with PPD?

9 weeks PP and on Wellbutrin but I think I might have it worse than the doctor thought. Any tips or resources? 😢

I would talk to the doctor again. Maybe they can switch you to another medication that works better. Also have you tried talking to a counselor? Sometimes just talking through how you’re feeling helps a lot ❤️

Advice from someone who not only has PPD, but has been struggling with depression for yearssss. 
Medication Advice:
Give it 2 weeks. By the end of 2 weeks you should start to feel like your normal self and may have the though “I don’t need the meds” that’s how you know it’s working. Don’t stop them. If you’ve got bad side effects or are still depressed, try something new. Personally, I hated wellbutrin. Prozac is the best fit for me, but everyone is different. Prozac also isn’t recommended if you’re breast feeding... I’m not. 
Depression Advice:
I went through outpatient therapy (multiple group sessions a week) what I learned was that meds only do about 20% of the work. The other 80% is up to you and learning how to cope/change thought processes. I highly suggest therapy and working with a therapist who actually gives legit advice. Not one who just nods their head and lets you leave with no “homework” 
Before I got pregnant, I was depression free for a year. After 10+ years, I was finally free. The one difference? I had FINALLY hit my rock bottom. I kicked my ass into gear and did whatever I needed to to get better. You have to be willing to do whatever you need to.
