Meeting with ex for closure

I was dating this guy for about 6 months he recently told me he didn’t have the time for a relationship over text. I understand because we both work full time and he’s moving into a management position at his job and is busy and I was very upset when abs after it happened. I’m going to be in his city this Friday and wanted to see if he would meet me for coffee just to talk about everything considering it was just a blunt” I don’t hate time for a relationship “ I don’t want to get back with him I just want to know what I did wrong. Is this bad has anyone done this?
