So I’m going into Year 9 after summer (13-14) and I’ve always been really close to this boy and as we’ve got closer I obviously think what if we begin to date. My older brother (19) never brought home a girl before, so I tell myself I’m too young to be having a boyfriend but my friend has had one for just over a year but they hardly speak then my other friend just broke up with hers (5 ish months) but they were always together and she even went over his house. I feel like my dad wouldn’t be okay with that but I’m okay with him not coming over but what if we do start to date? Will it be awkward? Will we speak to each other at school? We are on opposite sides to the school so have no lessons together and he’s not in my friendship group, am i too young for a boyfriend?
