When did your doctor decide to schedule you for induction?

Most won't until your due date or later cause it's not really necessary. You're almost there hangon. Being dilated before labor isn't important anyways

I was 39 weeks and a few days. I was dialated but not making any progress... so they just decidied to do it. They arent allowed to before 39 weeks unless its medical reason

2 days before my due date but I didn't want to be induced so we did a stress test. Everything was fine so he agreed to wait until I was a week late. My water broke on its own a day before my scheduled induction so my son was born exactly a week past his due date

I'm 4 days away from my due date and we haven't discussed induction yet. I chose this doctor because I knew she supported natural labors. I'm assuming at my appointment Thursday she'll finally break down and talk to me about it. Lol

Not being dilated really doesn't matter. Some if not most women don't dilate until they are in active labor.

My doctor induced me at 37 weeks with my second daughter, (because we lost our first daughter at 36 weeks), then with my son, had a new doctor, and she refused to induce me until 41 weeks.
