Braxton Hicks cause breathlessness?

Been getting loads of Braxton Hicks this past week. I'm 33+4 FTM
Curious if them being so tight is normal, makes it hard to catch my breath sometimes.
They're not painful, just super tight and uncomfortable
Whole belly gets really hard

Yes!! Been having these since 34 weeks! Takes your breath away but they don’t hurt! Stomach turns very hard on both right and left side.

Wow and they say you get your breathing back once baby drops. I think my baby has dropped but was unsure since i randomly get out of breath while just in resting positions! Good to know I'm not alone and that it's because of braxton hicks
