23 follicles?

Question

I had my antral follicle count on CD 3 and she counted 23 follicles. I’m not sure if it makes a difference but I’m 36. She didn’t say if that number was good or bad and I can’t find any good information online. Does anyone know what a normal count should be for a 36 year old? Thanks!

My fertility dr told me at age 36 they would expect to see 10 but sadly only saw 7 on me. So i think your number is great 😂

That’s a good number. My understanding is the older we get the more follicles can grow. However this doesn’t mean the quality is any better and may not grow.
I’m 32, at my egg retrieval they got 27 eggs. Only 15 made it to the next round then only 5 made it total. One transferred and I am pregnant and four frozen
