I clean my little ones mouth to prevent build up from milk and also to prevent thrush. I use a wash cloth and water too but I just make sure I don’t go to far back in his mouth.

My in-laws gave me a hard time about not doing it because apparently it was a popular thing to do when my husband was a baby, but my ped said don’t worry about it yet.
