Colic formula??

Can anyone recommend the best formula for colic in newborns? I’m desperate 😩

We used enfamil gentlease but unfortunately true colic just sucks and they have to grow out of it.

Look into your diet if you’re breastfeeding. A lot of colic is really just babies with food intolerances. Dairy/soy are the top offenders.

Nutramigen, my son had horrible colic and it changed significantly once the formula began to kick in, usually a week. But it is expensive.

Gentle formulas made my sons colic worse. I always used enfamil enspire but maybe try the enspire gentlease. But nothing helped 100%, only time did. I know its hard :(

Enfamil NeuroPro Gentlease, Enspire Gentlease, or just Gentlease are for fussiness and has, you could also try Similac sensitive or pro sensitive for lactose sensitivity which could also cause colic. It has the lactose enzymes partially broken down for babies who have a hard time breaking it down on their own. Its not for lactose intolerance and it is not soy based. Also when switching formulas, make sure you mix it with their current formula and slowly wean them onto the new one so you dont shock their tummy.
