IUD owners, what’s the insertion like?!?!?

I’m getting an IUD in on the 30th. Never had a baby or been pregnant- so I’m expecting it to be a BITCH.

I have my nipples pierced, more than a number of tattoos, and I get regular Brazilian waxed. But I’m a HUGE baby. Husband hit my cervix during sex once and I went down like a shot deer. So I’m petrified of getting the wombo-combo of my VERY FIRST pap and IUD all in one day.

Yes- I’m set on the IUD. Had the nexplanon and hated it, can’t take a pill to save my life, and I’d accidentally flush the NuvaRing. IUD it is.

They’re giving me the cervical softener and I’m taking enough ibuprofen to kill a small animal. But I need preparation. HONEST preparation.
