WORRIED MOM... Cough?

Question

My 3 month old has a cough that he gets during the night/morning. Been going on for about a week. I’ve been using a humidifier. Should I be concerned? Reach out to the doctor? I’m a worried FTM!

If baby doesn’t have a fever I would first clean up.. is ur house dusty? Clean fans and change air filters.. and I’d swap that humidifier for a couple house plants.. snake plants work great. Humidifiers breed so much bacteria

You should bring him in. My kids pediatrician puts my kids on a nebulizer when they have a bad cough and within a few days it’s gone.

I would call the dr just to check. In my area, upper respiratory infections and sinus infections are everywhere right now. My 3 year old is actually on antibiotics for his sinus infection. And my hubby is on meds for his upper respiratory infection.

Can’t hurt to call the doctor if you’re worried! They can tell you whether to come in or how to soothe at home.
