Bladder leaking?

I’ll be 8 wks postpartum on Friday and am just curious, is anyone else still struggling with daily bladder leakage issues? I delivered vaginally and it was horrible at first, I was wearing Depends for days. 😳 It’s definitely improved to just minor leaks but it’s still happening every day with things like sneezing, laughing too hard, and strenuous activity. 
Is anyone else still struggling with this? I told my OB at my last appointment and I feel like she just blew me off, saying it was “totally normal”...

Definitely NOT normal, and NOT something that you have to suffer with. 
A lot of Doctors are negligent as they just blow it off as something women have to deal with - when you don’t! X
Go and see a physio that specialises in pelvic floor.
I got checked yesterday at 6 weeks and it’s honestly the best thing I’ve done. 
My pelvic floor is ok (thankfully) but she still encouraged me and taught me how to do exercises properly. 
If you get on top of it now, you will be a-Ok.

Definitely go see a women’s health physical therapist. They specialize in the pelvic floor and can help! Also, follow @ExpectingAndEmpowered on Instagram if you’re on there. They have tons of education on subjects like that - I’m doing their postpartum guide and have zero incontinence thanks to learning how to activate the right muscles at the right times. It may be common during and after pregnancy to leak, but it isn’t “normal” and it shouldn’t be a lasting effect. ❤️
